Our team developed a mobile application for Epicenter, the largest home improvement retail chain in Ukraine. The solution is designed for field employees — delivery drivers, freight forwarders, and managers involved in cargo transportation processes.
The application is part of the company’s unified digital ecosystem and is fully integrated with internal ERP and WMS systems, as well as the Cargo transportation management system.
Tasks solved by the application
The application was created to automate and streamline logistics processes — one of the company’s core operational areas.
Key objectives include:
- digitizing documentation for drivers;
- reducing manual operations and bureaucracy;
- increasing transparency of logistics workflows;
- enabling real-time communication between field staff and the office;
- monitoring delivery stages in real time.
How the Application Works
After installing the application, a driver completes a simple registration process. The system then automatically retrieves from ERP and Cargo:
- user profile data;
- assigned vehicle and trailer numbers;
- active transportation orders.
All requests for domestic and international deliveries are sent directly to the driver’s application as digital tasks — without paperwork or additional approvals.
Managers can track vehicle and trailer locations in real time via GPS and monitor delivery status throughout the process.
Delivery Stage Tracking
The application allows automatic or manual tracking of key logistics stages:
- arrival at the loading location;
- completion of loading;
- arrival at customs clearance;
- customs clearance completion;
- goods unloading;
- operational notes and confirmations.
All data is synchronized with ERP and WMS systems, ensuring a single, up-to-date source of information across all departments.
Functional Capabilities
The solution includes functionality tailored to daily field operations:
- editing and updating orders directly in the application;
- monitoring driver license and document expiration dates with automated notifications;
- access to instructions, company news, and internal surveys;
- built-in chat for communication with managers, mechanics, and support teams;
- stable performance under mobile network conditions.
Technologies Used
The application was built using the cross-platform Flutter framework, enabling:
- high performance;
- a single codebase for both iOS and Android;
- faster development and deployment into the client’s business processes.

As a result, Epicenter received a fully featured mobile application for field employees, deeply integrated with internal ERP and WMS systems.
